HOW DO I STOP THE LEAK FROM MY CEILING?
To stop a leak from your ceiling, you will have to place a large bucket or trash can underneath the leak, then puncture where the leak is coming from to relieve the pressure off your ceiling and drain where the water has accumulated. It can be dangerous and might affect your eligibility to receive a refund from your insurer. We recommend you leave this to the professionals.
HOW TO FIX THE BOILER?
When your boiler stops working, it may be because the pressure gauge has dropped too low. It might be because there is a leak in one of the pipes or radiators. If the pressure gauge is below 0.7bar, that might be your problem. To fix this you must get the pressure gauge to reach 1.5bar, and please do not exceed 1.5bar. Increasing the pressure too high may create an explosive hazard. Find the filling loop ( a metal pipe underneath the boiler ). Turn both taps ( once at a time ) and watch the pressure gauge closely. When it reaches 1.5bar, turn both taps off ( once at a time).
WHY IS MY HOME WATER DISCOLOURED?
The most common cause of discoloured water in your home is unclean pipes. When mineral sediments settle down at the bottom of the Pipe, this is tannin and is not harmful, but it can stain your clothes and is unpleasant to cook, drink and eat in. To remove the tannin, run your tap water for 10-15minutes to clear it up. If it's persisting, call a professional.
WOULD A LEAKING CEILING COLLAPSE?
Yes, your ceiling could collapse from a leak. Sooner or later, the weight of the accumulation of water from the leak will be too heavy for your ceiling to bear, eventually causing it to collapse.

WHEN WILL PAYMENT BE REQUESTED?
It is at the engineer's discretion to pick when there's a payment. It can be at the beginning ( for the call-out charge ) or every hour the job takes it can also be even requested after the job got completed.
HOW LONG UNTIL I GET MY REFUND?
Refunds may take anywhere from 3 - 8 weeks which depends solely on your insurer. We don't usually see refunds taking longer than six weeks, most of the time, it arrives within a month, but there may be exceptions.

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?
When an engineer is sent out you agree to pay the call-out charge, this has to get paid even if the order gets cancelled. Sometimes our engineers drive from Leicester to Coventry for a job and go all the way back without pay for their trouble because the customer cancelled last minute. For this reason, we ask you to pay the call-out charge if an engineer is sent out to you to cover their expenses.
