We seek to ensure that all representations made to customers regarding services, pricing, repairs, materials, timescales, and recommendations are made in good faith and based on the information reasonably available at the time.

To support this commitment:

• We do not knowingly make false, misleading, or inaccurate representations regarding the necessity, urgency, scope, or cost of works.

• We aim to provide customers with clear information regarding call-out arrangements, labour charges, material costs, and recommended works before proceeding wherever reasonably possible.

• Emergency plumbing situations may involve hidden defects, evolving circumstances, or issues that cannot be fully diagnosed until inspection or works commence. Initial assessments and estimates are therefore provided in good faith and may require amendment where additional issues are identified.

• Any recommendation for repairs, replacement works, or further services is based on our assessment at the time and intended to reflect what is reasonably believed to be necessary.

• Where deposits or advance payments are requested, these may relate to labour scheduling, specialist parts, materials, or procurement requirements associated with the agreed works.

• Where legally required, RSV Emergency Plumbers will seek to provide customers with information relevant to their rights, including applicable cancellation rights and required pre-contract information, subject to statutory exemptions for emergency call-out works where applicable.

• Customers are encouraged to request clarification regarding pricing, materials, scope of work, or proposed repairs before authorising work.

RSV Emergency Plumbers does not knowingly engage in misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent business practices and seeks to conduct its business in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

Nothing within this policy excludes, limits, or affects any statutory rights available to consumers under applicable law.
